Cherry Blossom

Fluttering, Floating, Falling
Pink Petals in summer's day breeze
Glancing, Prancing, Dancing,
The bright, sunny day to seize.

Hope touches each white, each pink
blossom as light as a feather.
Hope touches each petal that sink
into the dewy grass forever.

The tree protected by bark
Rough, chocolate, brown by day
And lit in fireflies by dark
Festooned by petals who lay.
