Children

Shine your shoes

Stand straight

Never be late

Learn how to wait

And you must share

Even if you don’t care

Ask how are you

They’ll say it back

                                  too

Walk never run

Don’t go in the sun

Or the cold

Or you’ll get one

Tie your shoes

Be nice when you lose

But don’t let them win

But cheating’s a sin

Don’t speak your mind

But don’t be blind

Always raise your hand

But please do not stand

Don’t ever lie

Except to be nice

Listen to these words

And you’ll grow up just right
