A CHILD'S PARODY; AN ADULT'S REALITY.

Mountains are harder to conquer,

The pain is deeper when I fall,

Life's no longer just future dreams,

Some years back I would't bother,

Those years now pictures on the wall,

I look back and I want to scream.

Mistakes are harder to erase,

As life making less and less sense,

The bigger decisions to make.

Life showed me time teaches and heals,

It's inevitable phases,

I wish I knew exactly how,

All I can do is grab the wheel,

Don't know where but I'll go places,

Because I am a big girl now.

My reflection in the mirror,

So I know I can deliver,

That's my future and it's now here.
