See how a man contemplates,
his mind wanders far away.
It roams to the possible fates
that might have come from that day.

As time passes on,
his mind lingers strong,
distance choices upon,
that now seem wrong

He sees only his past,
blind now to the future,
how long can he last?
How long himself torture?

The choices he made
cannot now be changed.
yet how he holds on
to this unfortunate notion
and all the troubles t'will bring on.
