Choreography Constellations

The darkness is so cold and unforgiving

Being shrouded in it's presence is a one-sided battle

Making the light harder and harder to grasp.

Whenever in pits of despair, my dog is there, my music is there, my food is there.

But these are temporary materials.

Mortals.

Lights waiting to be engulfed in darkness once more.

But what's always there is galactic spirits in the sky.

Burning longer and brighter-seeming to be for eternity.

No matter how dark, they shine.

No matter how foggy it is, they shine.

Even if they're covered and forgotten, they shine.

I too want to shine.

My awards sparkle, but they don't shine.

My reputation has shimmers, but doesn't shine.

All I want to do... is shine

Shine with a resolution so bright in my heart, no darkness can engulf me.

What's that shine I seek?

...Happiness and Peace in my heart, body, and mind...

Only then, can I shine
