What it was like,
to not be that of a white.
The pain, humiliation and suffering
and still ending up with nothing but the blaming.
To be that of a different color,
like we had some kind of special armor
to consume all of their deep feelings
while releasing their vicious beatings.
Yet we were taught to love thine enemy
and that's what we'll do to this day no matter how wearily.
