The Clock Strikes

A clock strikes midnight,

A blonde rolls her eyes, looking out from her tower

A door creaks open then closes again.

“It’s midnight” A stranger coos

“It’s always midnight when the magic happens.” The blonde states.

“So you think it’ll be magic tonight?” the stranger laughs wrapping an arm around the woman.

The blonde turns. “Why, Prince Witty, are you seducing me?”

The prince smiles “I am, Princess Cinderella”

The clock strikes again, as the second chime grows.

“Tell me why are here?” Cinderella asks.

“Well someone has to take care of you since your husband won’t.”

“My husband is looking for new feet to oggle at.” Cinderella stated.

Witty laughed, kissing her. “I know.”

“He locked me away after hearing my story. He said my feet weren’t pretty enough to get over that.”

“Well I think your feet are pretty, as is the rest of you.” Prince Witty purred.

Cinderella laughed. “I didn’t get the Prince I wanted but I got the one I needed.”

“Says the girl sleeping with her husband’s younger brother.” Witty mentioned.

Cinderella laughed. “It’s been two years. You’re mine now.”

“Here’s to happily ever after.” Witty said pulling Cinderella into his arms.

The clock struck midnight for the third time, but neither of them heard it.
