Colorblind

Martin Luther King had a vision

We have proved to be a visionless generation

The lack of racial unity

Leads us to skewed opportunity

This disease is lack of education

It is spreading across the nation

Kids are already giving up on the American Dream

Because it is no longer how it seemed

Receiving A's is not enough

When your parents' salary is on the cuff

When your color defines your learning

And keeps you from financially earning

America does not provide equal opportunity

When privileged colors receive immunity
