Comedy Circus Feeling
A ringman takes the stage,
While clowns with books turn the page,
I watch alone backstage,
No one to bring me flowers,
No one to bring candy and cheer my name,
I smooth my trapeze outfit.
All ready to go,
I swing and feel great,
All the eyes are on me now,
I flip and somersault,
I do greatly and people want an encore,
After the show, I get flowers, candy, and a smile from my Mom when she picks me up.
