Concrete Eden

Location

You are quickly blinded by light,

as your ears are blasted by noise.

It even dazzles during the night,

and captures you in its joys'.

The city never sleeps,

as Frank Sinatra once said.

Even as the sky weeps,

you are unable to stop dead.

You inflate like a balloon,

as the countdown reaches one.

You walk under the moon,

with a thrill that can't be undone.

Where could a place be so pretty?

Well of course, New York City.
