Conquer the Man

Jealous

Bossy

Manipulative

And full of lies

You act all innocent,

but I can see through your disguise.

You acted like you wanted me,

but left me in the dust,

when you found someone better,

that's why you no longer have my trust.

Your deceitful promises,

no merit in them lies,

but despite what you've said and done to me,

I will rise.

Though you try to control me,

because of jealousy,

I won't let what you have uttered  have any affect on me.

Because I believe in integrity

and valuing each and every ability

you have.

I believe in having confidence in your self,

and not having to bag on anyone else,

to feel superior.

I believe in keeping my word,

that no promised I've made will ever be reffered,

to as a lie.

I believe in letting others make their own choices,

because we all have our own voices,

and the right to choose what we do.

I life others up,

and don't bring them down.

I know that to love myself,

I don't need a crown.

I let others follow their hearts,

and choose what they do.

I keep my promises.

What about you?
