A Conversation With My Mother

"Momma, you are a vivacious woman with enormous potential."

"Son, the corrupt has taken away my innocence."

"But you have given us all birth."

"The immoral have demolished my beauty while ignoring my significance"

"You have given us each our own sui generis attributes while molding our human spirit."

"Be that as it may, the illiterate have left me without knowledge."

"Mother Africa, you deserve better, how can we mend the hurt that we've caused?"

"My solicitous son, I merely yearn for my children to unite with one another."
