The Corner

A whole, hole drowning me in darkness
I ran and I fell and now i'm seeing a sea, rocking like i'm on a boat, see sawing because i thought i saw a raging sea and a dangerously sharp saw coming after me
I can't help but realize that i can't get out
I'm being swallowed up
Side to Side, up and down, east to west
I thought this was just a test, but it ain't
This place is like a poison and i been taint-ed
I can't make it
I can't take it
I won't get out
This place is called………..
I Can't tell you
After doing what i did, i feel like a buffoon
I'm to ashamed to tell you or look at you so i close my eyes hoping and praying that I'd die soon
I'm in a whole, hole….deep dark and i'm lost
To get out i don't even have enough to pay the cost
***
My dear child i already paid cost with the cross
I became you, a sinner, to save you
So don't worry about what you can't do
I got this. You can't save yourself, but i can
Just listen to me explain my plan.
I have great things in store for you. Because through me you can do what you want to do.
As long as it's in my will
Son, daughter, your heart is like the tough farming ground farmers till.
The place you are in is…..the corner
You're in timeout
Now you sit there wallowing, arms folded, and your face you pout
You have to listen now, be a good child,
promise to stop acting rambunctious and wild
Now you are getting older
When you were a child you acted like one
Now that you're growing, its time to put those acts behind you, two
Obedience is better than sacrifice, three
I'm letting you out of the corner and now i'm setting you free.
