Crying Faces

Do you know how  scary it really is
To see a child begging for a mother’s kiss
But you don't have the guts to tell him the news
He'll never get it all because of you
A bullet isn't insignificant
It can change someone's world in a brief instant

What is your saving grace
In this world full of hate
Crying faces, dying races, lying cases
Everyone's gonna lose
End up dead on the news
Crying faces, dying races, lying cases

I don't know how I could be so heartless
Kicking myself as I'm standing over the carcass
Never before had I felt so wrong and down
I look around at the bombed and burning city
And I hear the ghosts of who we had killed
Taunting me, tempting me
I pull the gun on myself
I can't deal with the guilt

What is your saving grace
In this world full of hate
Crying faces, dying races, lying cases
Everyone's gonna lose
End up dead on the news
Crying faces, dying races, lying cases
