Cutie Patootie Cat

Location

On a breezy yet so calm summer night,

She appeared quite so unexpectedly.

Missing fur, what an unfortunate plight,

Dull, miniscule, and extremely hungry.

Tangled beneath my legs, she rubbed and purred.

Within seconds, I was under her spell.

Where’ll she stay, to me it did not occur.

A place in my heart, she already dwelled.

A year has passed, by her I’m still entranced.

Although she came with much baggage in tow,

All those problems will not waver my stance;

My love for her will continue to grow.

Warm, little, orange, fur ball, kitty cat

Plunged in my life with the force of a bat.
