Dare to Deny

What be of love?

Who are we to judge?

The argument “tis of heaven, there be not consent”

Thou art bent!

Be thee divine? Of heaven above?

Fallacious Gods among us

If God you believe, then God you love!

“Separation of church and state” - U.S.

Islam, Atheist, Jewish, and Hindu

Buddhist, Candomble, and Unitarian

Pagan, Rastafari, and Christian

One may believe, but what of the rest?

We share this world, we do

Who are we to deny “I do”?

Bend the world to one’s belief

I am christian, the bible I believe

But now is time to give the world relief

And so, I come on bended knee

Dear lord I pray, be that not what you meant.

How can I believe a God who has created children

Only to let die

in the grasp of an eternal fire?

I do not.
