Daybreaks

snow falls

and the wind calls

Daybreaks

gravestones

shaking these bones

Daybreaks

footsteps

one boy, a girl

Daybreaks

to their parents,

they meant the world

and then

Daybreaks

and, I need to know now

that there's a way somehow

that I can find true piece

with the world in a sleep

and through Daybreak I stand alone

Standing in the cemetery zone

and then

Daybreaks

and, I need to know now

that there's a way somehow

that I can find true piece

with the world in a sleep

and through Daybreak I stand alone

Standing in the cemetery zone

alone

not alone

feel so alone

and when I wanna go home

I remember I'm never alone

and then

Daybreaks

and, I need you to know now

that I've found a way somehow

that I can find true piece

stumbling in the world around me

and through daybreak I'll never more stand alone

in the cemetary zone

Daybreaks, Daybreaks, and another Daybreaks

and I find myself becoming stronger

and smarter

and living

and thriving

in the world around me

and Daybreaks, and another daybreaks

and I'll meet you again at the cemetery zone

where I'll never more be alone

when that daybreaks.

Just a Person

Wow, something sad must have happened to you...

Victoria B.

Just a Person- you know me ;) I am always happy. ALWAYS!!! Happiest person in the world I don't have time to be sad. I got the theme for this poem after I read a Nicholas Sparks book, so yeah, I guess I would have been sad at the time, because after all it was a Nicholas Sparks book (BIG FAN). The book was The Best of Me. After Dawson Cole died Amanda Collier had to live with her choices of leaving the guy. Though, the best of Dawson Cole, his heart, went to Amanda's son and saved his life, Amanda would still regret her decision and will eventually end up like Tucker Tooley always holding on to the memories of someone. When Amanda Collier goes to visit Dawson Cole's grave I came up with the idea of writing a poem that would make me feel like she is trying to ressurect the memory of Dawson Cole but becomes stronger, even though we know she will never forget him, at least she will be able to live with her decision and her love for Dawson Cole.

Girl, that was write I wrote this poem. You know I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan.

Love,

Your BEST friend,

Victoria B.
