Dear Childhood

Here I lie

Nostalgia overcoming me with the past I once lived

Oh how I wish I was there once more

How happy I must have been

The gleams in my eyes

The smile of a million words

The joy that leaked out of me

The childhood I loved

Confusion overcomes me

Memories switched

Memories blocked

The gleams in my eyes

as formation of tears

The smile of a million words

Unspeakable in hidden truths

The joy that leaked out of me

Coming into the being of blood

Pain fills my memory

Repression consumes me once more

Oh how I wish I was there once more

The childhood I loved
