Dear Friend

Location

Dear Friend,

Friendship binds us together,

Respect and humility to one another,

In our youngest hour,

Even in our darkest hour.

Need I only ask: would you please hold my hand?

Do not forget me, my dear comrade.

Dear Enemy,

Ephemeral animosity and Ephemeral acquaintance

Never seem to balance.

Every day you walk by,

Memories of us competing and arguing,

You are the thorn in my life.

Dear Siblings,

Sisters I write to say

In the following way

Be good, be safe, and be intelligent.

Listen to Mother’s advice

In desperate times,

Never forget our family’s morals and values

Give and take, and never forget

Shall you need me, I’ll be waiting.

Dear Parents,

Pardon the many times I dishonored our values,

All my sins and mistakes have become your burden.

Realize that I shall mature:

Evidently I will fall once more,

Nevertheless I will learn.

To you dad, and to you mom

Send me your prayers, so that I become a better son.

Dear All-mighty and omnipresent,

Guide me, save me, and enlighten me.

Oh and shall I ever perceive death,

Do judge me accordingly.

Dear José,

Make me proud young lad: lift up your head and chest,

Expect the worst and pray for the best.
