Dear, Moon.

I've dreamt of becoming the moon,
Just for once to have the role of the,
Introvert.
Listening to the organisms,
Of Earth.
Observing.
Without words to be spoken.

Passionate strangers,
look to the sky for guidance,
From their dear,
Moon.

Forever holding your secrets of vulnerability,
the feeling to be alive,
as we orbit through space,
you look to your Dear,
Moon.
Questioning your dreams,
your heartaches and darkest secrets.

We all stay up till the darkest before the,
Dawn.
To chat with our dear,
Moon.

Above the trees,
Higher than the clouds,
She rests upon her,
Atmospheric throne.
The mysterious midnight goddess,
protecting our lonely nights,
Dear, Moon.
