From Death to Love

Sun, 11/10/2019 - 18:31 -- Dixye

My love is bigger than my heart can bare

It swelled at the thought of you

My love for you was free like the wind in my hair

I knew from the beginning this was too good to be true

For in the end, I failed you

Your death knocked me off my feet

And yet, somehow my love for you grew

You knew, before you left me, to leave him with me

With him by myside, I know now what I didn't know then

My heart wants to save those who cannot speak

I knew I would find my passion, but I didn't know when

Brother, I miss you and I hope you know  you made my love peak.

You gave me my love and passion, I only wish I knew

Your death was not in vain

Enven though I cried

I want to inform others in pain

That even though he died from suicide

It is okay to be insane

There is always green grass on the other side

This poem is about:
My family
