Death is My Friend

Location

Christiansburg
United States
You say you hate Death,

But death is a friend of mine

And will be until the end

Of time.

Death is a poor old man,

Scorned and hated,

By a a dishonest maiden:

Life.

She twists, she turns,

She invites the demons inside,

And still you blame Death

For the pain

When he should be glorified.

Death is my friend

Because it is Life who comes to an end.

Death is my friend,

Reliable and constant.

Death is my friend.

It is time for the hatred toward him

Comes to an end.
