The Dental Dream

We often loathe the thought of that place,

The idea of the buzzing sounds of handpieces,

Nearly drives us to outer space,

But for me,

It is my dream.

The idea that I could permit a change,

Make someone more confident in their smile,

Some may find me deranged,

But for me,

It is my dream.

Whether it be aligning their teeth,

or ridding of their decay,

I'd feel wonderful knowing I gave them relief.

For me,

It is my dream.

And It's not about the money,

It's not about the pay,

It's about knowing that I could change someones life,

In such a simple way.

Being a dentist,

It is my dream.
