A Description of Heartache

A broken home

A suburban school

How can I fit in

They treat us like fools

The father split from mother

One is not like the other

They love me unconditionally

There's not much love from my brothers

Or my sister, considering how much I miss her

I'm an only child, but my pain constantly blisters

My life is like a game of twister

Placing a limb on all the wrong colors

A's, B's, C's, and no others

Hiding away in the covers

Mr. and Mrs. Didn't marry one another

I turned out alright

The first success story

But now I always know

That my heart deserves no worry

This poem is about:
Me
My family
