On the desert

Location

I am whole whithin

The hot dusty air,

Rocks rising left and right,

Everything is like fire,

Reds and oranges surround me,

Fueling my energy,

And helping me find my peace,

The desert breeze,

Sweeps all my troubles away with the dust,

The sun warms me to my bones,

I will always hold the desert in my heart,

And I will return once again

So I can continue to feel at peace

When I see the red rocks rise and fall,

Like the earth is breathing deeply

Whispering a simple reminder,

Stand tall,

Weather the storms,

And just be.
