Desire

I lay in wait for something
I don't know what I need,
I know what's right, or do I?
I wish that I were free

Held to the highest standard
Because I actually try
And now all eyes are watching
Mistakes will not slip by

If I get caught in folly
Like what I'm mixed with now
I know my days are numbered
I can't be seen somehow

This game I play is danger
I'm playing love like fire
I must discern my courage
From all that I desire
