A Deteriorating Family

A brick building consisting of unconditional love and prosperity,

inhabited by six family members: two boys and two girls.

One forgetful action will alter their lives forever,

a normal night rapidly evolving into a nightmare.

The disheartening soud of flames embedded in their minds for eternity,

the heartbreaking sight of the scorching lava swallowing their possessions.

Echoing screams and cries drawing the attention of clueless neighbors.

A lifeless, stony gaze fixated on the ruination of their belongings.

One home morphed into ashes in minutes,

everything they worked hard for destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Memories. Gone.
