Diamond Ghost

She walks the halls like a ghost
Everyone sees her
But no one can reach her
Her skin is made of diamonds
Made to reflect off every hurt
She's untouchable
Beautiful in every way
Her smile reflects a kaleidoscope of colors
Enough to make everyone fall in love
She's a treasure
One that everyone wants
But she's just out of grasp
She won't let herself fall in reach
She can't risk that kind of pain
Not again
Not when last time she shattered
A beautiful explosion of heartbreak
She put herself back together
No longer allowing the risk of repetition
No longer allowing love
She's a ghost
