SUNY Potsdam is where I've arrived,

Where I stand on the shoulders of those who've strived.

Even though were in good standing

I need to vent about some issues that aren't worth baring.

They say we're number one in the dinning service,

But, why all this fast food, what's the purpose?

Fire House, Chips, Becky's & Dexters too,

Don't eat at Lehman, the demon might get you blue.

Don't get me wrong I love Biology,

But Mrs. Burdick needs a check, in her psychology.

Ecology, Anatomy and Bio Ethics,

I love when Dr. Trybula talks genetics.

Those crane kids create some beautiful tunes,

But, sometimes they look a bunch of tycoons!

Why are you walking down the street and singing?

You're causing my ears some serious stinging.

Monday through Friday we think were a bunch of smarties,

But, come saturday night, we go to too many parties.

Girl put your ass away, I think I've been scarred.

But there's the guy in the corner who just got hard.

They say potsdam is such a pretty place,

Until the ice cold snow hits you square in the face.

They wait until -15 to cancel classes,

I mean, who cares if there's ice hanging off my glasses.

They wind you in with first year residence halls,

But, when you live in lehman, you'll figure out the curve balls.

Bowman west and east are new remodeled types,

Unlike, Knowles with it's hanging water pipes.

Potsdam isn't all that bad of a place,

Just needs a little tweeking in this case.

It will always be the "Dirty Dam" to me,

And I mean dirty, literally.
