If I could change one little thing.

Oh country 'tis of thee

You say it's all equality,

yet your actions are monotony.

Isn't it ironic that our country is replete with variety?

From the streets and corporations,

All that is seen is less motivation

for the ones who are pinned

by society's discriminating sins.

Race is an issue,

We can never make up for these miscues.

The only place we can start,

is making sure we only look at a being's heart.

I didn't quite understand your main theme, but your reference to "Our Country Tis of Thee" really pulled me in. Good beginning!
