Distance is Numbers

They always state "How are you friends with someone you've never even met?"

It's actually quite simple.

Let me explain,
My BestFriend is the first ocean that didn't make me feel like oil. She was like a puzzle that I could not figure out but, gradually the pieces began to fit perfectly together with every laugh, every tear, every inside joke and every secret told fear. Before I knew it she was like a beautiful masterpiece that I did not want to destroy, one that I was so proud to call my #BFF
My BestFriend was the first magnet that I did not repel. When we met we found our common grounds and we clicked instantly almost as though we had been friends since before time.
Although, we have never met in person, endless text messages and FaceTime calls makes it seem as though we have. It's insane how we have the privilege to pick up a phone tap a few buttons and instantly be transported as though you were face to face .
We have embarked on a journey that seems damn near impossible to attain. I've finally found that one person who won't judge me for my quirky ways and will always be the shoulder that I can lean on once I grow weary.
We refuse to allow 315 miles come between us..

& I believe THAT is quite "awesome."
