To live in this world

A world of pain, of war, of death

To wake up every day

To work, to study, to care

 

 

Does it really matter

To have a family

to bring children into this messed up world

 

 

Does it really matter

to go on day by day, repeating the circle of life

 

 

But of course it matters!

It all matters when you know

that even though this world has evil

we can change it all

and make it all good

that you can make a difference

that you can dream

that you can dance

and that you can change the world

 

 

It all matters when you make it matter

when you dare to do what’s right

when you do not let your voice die

when you speak up and stand for love

love for the other

love for nature

love for diversity

love for a better world

 

 

It all matters when you know

that you do not stand alone

and that many others want to change this world too

and make it a beautiful place

in which it doesn't matter what you are, what you do, where you come from

A place in were what only matters is what you give, what you built, what you contribute.
