Don’t ask Don’t tell

There is a war going on today
Our soldiers march out one by one
Out and sweating in the open sun
We can't see them but feel they won
There is a war going on today

The soldiers don't quite understand
A man loves a man
A gun shoots at hand
Yet they still get ban
The soldiers don't quite understand

A lover apart from there love
Thats something they all know so well
That pain for a lover when there lover fell
Yet those two lovers set off a bell
A lover apart from there love

America the brave and free
Yet discrimination is worse together
A brothers not a brother if he wears a feather
A sister not a sister if she likes heather
America the brave and free

The way I see it is murder
Stop and think of the ones well lost
The lives that discrimination deliberately cost
The gays and lesbians that trusted there boss
The way I see it is murder
