Don't drink and drive

Your'e flying down the road feeling amazing, feeling alive

You got a buzz going, and run a few stop signs

But that's ok! No one was hurt, and you're still feeling great

Little did you know, your about to put someone's life on the line

You run 1, 2, maybe  3 red lights, zooming at a fast speed rate

You didn't slow down, nor did your speed start to delince

With a hazy mind, your reaction time was delayed

You slammed on your breaks, but it was a little too late

The family you hit? Obviously wasn't expecting it

While your airbag ejected, and helped save your life

The car you hit? Flipped three times.

The child in the backseat , his mom made him lay down, because he wasn't feeling fine

He was thrown from the car, but by the grace of God, managed to survive

The passager, someone around your age, was the life you put on the line

and the driver, who was obeying the law, didn't make it out alive

when your car hit on her side,  that's when she died
