Down the Street!

As I am walking down the street,
I click my fingers to the beat,
Ladies shout, the tyres skid
I hit the top of a metal lid
Music from the side store
Heads nod to the numb and encore
Busy street, lousy limp
The pot popped and she couldn't control it
Oil spill, people are thrilled even the driver missed it
Drama ensued as the deer panteth for breath
The clouds gather in rains of screams and scrams
All the panting subsided by a single pout from that little child.
