Dream

Your words are foreign to me

Drowning in the static on the radio

Resurfacing, I gasp for air

Continuing to swim through the Sea of Possibilities

It’s dark here

My thoughts dance into the road

Only to get hit by reality

I think twice about letting them off on their own

He created me in His image

Personification will send you through the white walls

Mom told me don’t talk to strangers

I have to go home now

Now I lay me down to sleep

If I pray to you, my soul shall you keep

For now my soul floats in an endless void

So cut me up and bury my remains

In the Garden of the Non-Believers
