dreams don't die

Fri, 10/04/2013 - 00:02 -- northrb

The world turns dark, the lights go out

And in my mind there is not a single doubt

They  can’t see what I am going through

They can’t see how much I need You

The match in my heart is slowing burning out

I wish I could find the strength to just blow it out

Cause I can’t see past tomorrow

I can’t see past the sorrow

But something holds on

It’s not stubborn or strong

Cause dreams don’t just die

They only drown in the lies

We feed them like they will never come true

Never asking what this dream means to you

For in You I feel whole and in my dreams you feel real

it’s like I can almost feel

You holding my hand

That’s what making me hold on
