A-dull-ts

High school junior and the pressure is all here

Where the adults tell you whether or not

Your future is clear

And all the numbers you've feared

For so many years

Will determine if the life you desire is coming near

Why try so hard to be unrecognized

By a panel of judges who determine

Who's dreams will die

All about the prestige of a school that requires stacks of Ben Franklin's

If time is money, don't they understand what Daylight Savings Time is

Apply now and meet requirements

All my life I've been introduced to only tyrants

Who fail to teach in such hostile environments

And are only working for their own retirements

3.0 or below

So many gave up because they were told

That they had nothing to show

Don't ever dare to say that we never tried

When we are pushed even closer to kissing our dreams goodbye
