Dust

Location

They say time heals all wounds

But what if that isn’t true

Wounds eventually turn into scars

And time can’t heal a mark that lasts forever

Because whenever you look down, there it is

The scar, reminding you that time didn’t do anything

It only brought back pain

It hurts, it feels like the wound opened again

Again leaving you to think time will heal it

But it wont

That same scar will appear

You wonder will you ever get better even though the physical pain is gone

The emotional pain is what kills you

Kills you until there is no more scars only dust

Just like that…

Dust
