The Easter Bunny's Story

Mon, 06/03/2013 - 08:18 -- SNadyaH

Around the corner the Easter Bunny hops.
He gives out big eggs filled with yummy gumdrops.
The small children all squeal and run to get more
And pick up what has fallen on the floor.
They skip and jump and go pull the bunny's tail,
So he stops to tell them an Easter tale.

"Baby Jesus has now become a young man
And is preaching and teaching all that he can.
Twelve special men live a life of following him
And teach others to live a life without sin.
But not all men wanted to follow this trail
So up on a tree he was hung by a nail.

Although he laid to rest for only three days
It was impossible for God not to raise
Jesus, the king of the Israel nation
Who is now OUR king and hope for salvation."
So little children, you don't have to worry
If you can remember the Easter story.
