Ebullience

Bodice of lace and buttons of brass,

Nervous blue eyes in a small looking glass.

Suit made of velvet and tie made of silk,

Confident smile of pure manly ilk.

Solid oak doors and roses pale pink,

Exuberant mind unable to think.

Faces of smiles and music so grand,

Anticipation so hard to withstand.

Open the doors and into the place,

Look at the lovely smile on his face!

Swelling crescendo and "Here Comes the Bride",

She is exquisite, I'm swelling with pride.

Endearing vows and oaths of "I do",

Promises to forever be true.

Partners today and partners for life,

They exit the chapel proclaimed man and wife.
