For the longest time she said she felt fine

Even though we knew it was her time

She wanted to accept the things she couldn’t change

She never complained, though it seemed strange

In Sickness and in health they vowed

He reminded her regularly aloud

As her life came to an end

Our lives would quickly transcend

We are living our best lives without her today

And hope to see her someday!
