The End of Social Anxiety

Location

We all feel like we’re worthless

I’m not good enough

I’m not pretty enough or thin enough

Or I’m too short, too tall

I feel like my parents secretly hate me

And I’m the joke my friends are laughing at

We all think we’re alone here

Some cut trails across their skin

Some self-medicate to ease the hurt

The media glorifies the end,

The kids think it's hip

Some go too far, it’s too late to turn back now

This may seem cliché and overused

But you are not alone

You are not an object to be valued

You are human

We are humans
