Endless Dream

In the darkest room rests the purest girl
Like an ancient tomb like a quiet world
She's got dark brown hair and the most innocent eyes
But that's not her, it's just her disguise
And you'll never meet this little girl
Because tonight is the night she leaves this world
With a knife in her hand; scattered pills at her feet
You sit there and wonder what death she'll meet
To take a painful road and smile through it all
Or take the easy way out and just fall
In an eternal sleep this pure girl stays
Because an angelic boy came and took her breath away
And the way he smiled, he must have somehow knew
That she had taken his breath away too
So as they lay together on separate floors it may seem
In their minds, however, their holding hands in an endless dream
