Escravo

Its the movie of life

Guess who the spotlight is on

My touch, my hand, my pigment

Another day another dawn

Another battle in the perpetual struggle for a hustle

Im alone

At times I can't help but kneel down and let my cheeks wet

It's not soley the sunk pain of of oppression

Look at my thin check

The words that are everlastingly slurred

Cold injurious disrespect

But I hold and remain in the system

Despite the deliberate neglect

I am defeat

It's periolus out in these streets

But even more dangerous when I am buying Jays for my feet

Seeking escape so i stay home

My own delirious dome

But even in my humble abode they corrode with all that filthy load

These chains hurt

I desperately desire to leave

It's like they perforated my skin and are now a part of me

They too succeed

In making me

Believe I am nothing

Honestly

Weepingly

The slave in me

Vehemently

Needs to be free

Sometimes I dare to hope but lets face it, it only gets harder

Because brothers are being headlocked to death

One by one, like Eric Garner
