Kid from the horn of Africa, loves to run

Like others he enjoys it cause it’s fun

He hasn't been nowhere but his country

And the nation of the U.S. with his family

But, one thing is not known about this child

He secretly watches anime with a smile

HIs mom was pregnant with him in an Asian country

So the vibe of the villagers stayed in her tummy

She was so stuck on surreal sights 

She didn't know the influence on her little buddy

He grew up to love the Manga 

Like comics made for the Japanese

He was reading with such enthusiasm

His mind was acting weird

He would think of ninja, ramen, robes, and face paint

And all the other wonders of the Country

His friends would also wonder 

Why this African was acting so funny

If only they knew why I am who I am

I run Cross Country and track

Yet they don’t know the part who loves japan

The food, the culture, the history, the land

They show it all in the manga

So from one fan to the writers I appreciate your work
