Every Day That Passes Bye

(5 November 2013)

Every day that passes bye,

Is another day I hurt inside.

Watching from a far distance,

Makes life a nuisance.

I miss the times, the laughter, the love,

All of it memories from above.

Now away, ashamed and cold,

My only wish is that I'd told.

Told you you're my world, my everything.

But its too late so take back the ring.

Walk on, walk far,

I don't care, just stay out of bars.

Just remember while you're gone,

I'll wait here just as long.

Every day that passes bye,

Is another day I die inside.

I like your rhyme pattern here. My favorite lines are:

Watching from a far distance,

Makes life a nuisance.

You did a really nice job here. I also started reading the poems on your blog...Smile Clown was up first. Kind of spooky :D I like the fact you enjoy rhyming. Folks in modern poetry seem to frown on it, but I really love to write in rhyme with a seamless meter. I'll keep reading -good job!
