Every House Holds a Story

Location

Every house holds a story
like the binding of a book
Every house holds a story
If one would simply take a look

Open the door just like the cover
Come read a story like no other
Walk through the pages of the story of their lives
If you would just take the time to step inside.

Every house holds a story
Like the binding of a book
Every house is like a story
And is not always how it looks.

You cannot judge by how things appear
Or else you will most likely fall with your tears
You have to take the time to truly see
the the story that was meant to be

Every house holds a story
A truly terrific tale
Every house holds a story
Though often fragile and frail.

So be careful where you tread
Or else you might just hurt your head
Lives can easily seem to fall apart
Within the stories of our hearts.

Every heart holds a story
Tread lightly as you go
Every house holds a story
One can never read too slow.

Just take your time to read the tale,
Where storm winds blow their gusting gales,
Helping others through the pages
And you'll have learned the lesson of the ages.

Every house holds a story
I hope you will soon see
Every house holds a story
If you just continue to read.
