Everything around me is like

Everything around me is like water, and I am like a stone.

I was made untouchable, forged in fire with smoke and bone.

Everyone else is light like cotton, round and soft and white.

I was made of anger, fueled by a need to fight.

Everything around me is like water, constantly washed away.

Nothing that comes by changes me; like iron I will stay.

Happiness and sadness are just shadows that don’t last.

Mountains do not bow to things that fade as they go past.

Everything around me is like water, and I do not get wet.

My morals are like metal in a strong, unbroken set.

Time can’t change a boulder and emotion can’t change me;

I wasn’t made a follower; I was made strong and free.
