Excuse me if we see things a little differently.

I look into the mirror, and what do I see?

An ugly, overweight blob looking back at me.

Now, I know I'm beautiful.

All of Gods creatures are beautiful.

Yadda Yadda Yadda.

Where you see a "pretty" face.

I see acne scars and poorly applied makeup.

Where you see "sexy curves".

I see extra weight, that just won't go away.

Where you see a "beautiful smile".

I see ugly, yellowing squares you'd call teeth.

You  say "Bubbly personality".

I say socailly awkward disaster.

I'm not shy.

I just hate myself, in more ways than you'll ever know.

So excuse me if I'm a little negative.

I find it easier to express my flaws to you,

instead of you pointing each one out to me down the road.

But if you can look passed my flaws,

and stick through it with me 'til the end,

then thank you.

Because if you can see my light through my darkness,

Maybe one day I'll see what you see.

But until then, bear with me.

Even the most beautiful diamond,

Once was an ugly lump of coal.
